Post Baccalaureate Fellow, Center for Engaged Pedagogy
Kayla Leong is the Post Baccalaureate Fellow at the Center for Engaged Pedagogy and a recent graduate of Barnard College where she studied United States history with an emphasis on race and ethnicity. She is passionate about history’s ability to transform the present through inquiry into the past and radical approaches to pedagogy that challenge norms in the classroom. Her research interests include urban histories, ecocriticism, and feminist critiques of political economy/capitalism. At the CEP, Kayla creates website content, aids the development of new curricula, and works on initiatives that support first generation, low-income, and international students at the College.
