Student Intern, Center for Engaged Pedagogy
Sumayya Mokit is a junior at Barnard College studying Environmental Biology and Educational Studies. Her interest in Environmental Biology roots from her own experiences with environmental issues in Bangladesh. Sumayya hosts Parallel Play at the CEP on Wednesdays from 12-2pm where you can ask her about being an FLI student, navigating through STEM classes, getting involved with sustainability on campus, and various studying strategies. In her free time, she loves to bullet journal, do pottery, bake many sorts of desserts, and explore museums and historical sites.
