Preceptors and teaching assistants can also sign up for advice on navigating their roles and supporting student learning. You can also meet with her to learn more about the CEP's teaching and learning initiatives; to talk about pedagogical strategies in any modality; assessment and evaluation; and/or to receive consultation on your syllabus, assignment design, or use of educational technology.
Sign up for Alex's office hours to receive support on pedagogical practices that critically reflect anti-oppressive values; to receive consultation on any aspects of your syllabus and assignment design; to discuss strategies for cultivating community and engaging across difference in the classroom; and to learn more about the CEP's communities of practice, teaching and learning initiatives, and specific projects. Areas of pedagogical expertise and interest include gender and sexuality studies; critical race and ethnic studies; art and critical theory; climate and the anthropocene; and intergroup dialogue.
Drop by Duygu's office hours to receive support on gender and trans inclusive classroom pedagogies, running inclusive classroom discussions, designing scaffolded assignments and clear rubrics, pedagogical practices for writing assignments and supporting international students. Areas of research and pedagogical interests include: transnational gender and sexuality studies, disability studies, antiracist and feminist pedagogies.
