Sign up for Melissa’s office hours to learn more about the CEP and its activities, and receive support for studying and managing workload for classes and/or transitioning to in-person learning. Preceptors and teaching assistants can also sign up for advice on navigating their roles and supporting student learning. You can also meet with her to learn more about the CEP's teaching and learning initiatives; to talk about pedagogical strategies in any modality; assessment and evaluation; and/or to receive consultation on your syllabus, assignment design, or use of educational technology.
Sign up for Alex's office hours to receive support on practices that embody anti-oppressive values; to consult on course design, active learning strategies, and techniques for engaging politically and conceptually difficult material; to identify strategies for cultivating community and engaging across difference in the classroom; and to learn more about the CEP's communities of practice. Areas of research and pedagogical expertise include gender and sexuality studies; critical race and ethnic studies; performance studies; art and critical theory; and facilitation and intergroup dialogue.
Drop by Joscelyn's office hours to discuss the CEP's teaching, learning, and research projects and to share new ideas for the CEP's media, research, and related initiatives. She is also happy to meet with course assistants and TAs and instructors working with course assistants and TAs to discuss any aspects of or questions about the experience. Student Employee Hours
Our student assistants are available in the CEP (126 Milstein) on Wednesdays from 1-3pm during the CEP's Study Cafe. Come by during this time to make a cup of tea, get a snack, and talk with our students assistants 1-on-1 or in groups. Students are also welcome to email firstname.lastname@example.org to set up an appointment with one of our student assistants.
