Alexa Easter, a May 2023 graduate of Barnard College, is the Coordinator at the Center for Engaged Pedagogy (CEP). She previously served as the CEP's Post-Baccalaureate Fellow during the 2023-2024 academic year.

In her current role, Alexa spearheads CEP digital communications, develops programming that brings students and faculty together, and supervises the Learning, Engagement, and Assessment Fellows (LEAFs). She also manages the center's day-to-day operations, supports CEP program data collection and management, and coordinates routine financial and hiring needs. Her two favorite parts of her job are serving as a near-peer mentor for LEAFs and maintaining and building excellent relationships with staff members and stakeholders across the Barnard community.

As a senior at Barnard, Alexa served as an assistant teacher in the College’s Center for Toddler Development while completing her Psychology capstone project on secure base behavior. She has worked as a research assistant in the Barnard Education Department and the Department of Sociomedical Sciences at the Mailman School of Public Health. Her work appears in The American Journal of Preventive Medicine. Alexa is preparing for a career in clinical child psychology.
